PGCMLS history
The PGCMLS history collection consists of digitized memorabilia of library documents, program services promotional material, photographs of bookmobiles and library facilities. Most of the records document the library system’s early history, primarily the 1940’s - 1970’s period. This collection offers a visual overview of some of the most important events that document the library history.
Therapy Through the Art
This exhibit features the inspiring artwork created by teens and young adults (ages 16-24) who participated in the “Therapy Through Art” summer program at the Hyattsville Branch Library, led by Olympic Artist and Upper Marlboro resident, Jesse Raudales. These pieces reflect the students’ growth in artistic skills, self-awareness, and emotional healing.
The Prince George’s County Lynching Memorial Project
