The Prince George’s Room Microfilm Collection includes local newspaper publications from the twentieth and twenty first century (1900-2010), as well as historical newspaper and broadside publications ranging from the eighteenth to nineteenth centuries (1700-1900). Other microfilm reels include photographs of historic sites in Prince George’s County; historical records such as court proceedings, wills, and deeds; and reference resources on Maryland state and local history. One reel contains Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps for the City of Hyattsville.
